Prof. Neema Mori Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Air Tanzania Company Limited Prof. Neema Mori is a distinguished academic and finance expert with over two decades of experience in teaching, research and consultancy. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School. Prof. Mori holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Agder in Norway, along with an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam. Her areas of expertise include corporate finance, small business finance, microfinance, corporate governance and entrepreneurship. Prof. Mori has contributed to numerous national and international research and consulting projects, working with esteemed organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT), Business Environment Strengthening for Tanzania (BEST), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Research on Poverty Alleviation (REPOA). She is widely published in internationally recognized academic journals and has participated in global conferences and professional training courses on topics including entrepreneurship, women’s economic empowerment, international business strategy, consultancy and adult education. In addition to her academic and consultancy work, Prof. Mori brings valuable governance experience through her service on various boards in Tanzania. She is an active member of the University of Dar es Salaam Academic Staff Assembly (UDASA), the Centre for Research on Social Enterprises and Microfinance (CERSEM) and the European Microfinance Research Network (EMRN). Prof. Mori brings to the Air Tanzania Board a wealth of knowledge in finance, strategic oversight and institutional governance, contributing to the Company’s continued growth and transformation. |

Dr. Neema Kiure Member, Board of Directors, Air Tanzania Company Limited Dr. Neema Kiure is a seasoned assurance professional and Partner at the Tanzania office of Ernst & Young (EY), a global leader in audit and business advisory services. In 2009, she made history by becoming the first female Partner among the Big Four audit firms in Tanzania. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having completed her professional exams in 1999 while pursuing her Advanced Diploma in Accountancy at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. Dr. Kiure holds a PhD in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr. Kiure is a certified Company Director and an accredited corporate governance trainer through the Commonwealth Association of Corporate Governance. She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), holds an ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting and is a Certified Basel II Professional. In 2012, she earned a Certificate in Leading Professional Service Firms from Harvard Business School. With extensive experience spanning the private and public sectors, Dr. Kiure has held key positions at Ulc (Tanzania) Limited, PwC and Diamond Trust Bank (Tanzania) Limited. She has also provided strategic support to government institutions in strengthening compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). Dr. Kiure’s professional influence extends to several regional and global forums. She has served on the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) Consultative Advisory Group and the African Professionalization Initiative Interim Academic Advisory Council. She is also a founding member of the Tanzania Association of Women Accountants (TAWCA) and served as Vice-Chairperson of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) from 2014 to 2021. Dr. Kiure brings to the Air Tanzania Board a wealth of experience in financial reporting, governance, risk management and public sector accountability, playing a critical role in supporting the airline’s compliance and strategic oversight functions. |

Lt. Col. (Rtd) Amour Ally Member, Board of Directors, Air Tanzania Company Limited Lt. Col. (Rtd) Amour Ally is a seasoned aviation professional and hospitality entrepreneur with a distinguished background in military aviation and extensive experience in the tourism sector. A retired officer of the Tanzania People’s Defense Forces (TPDF), he brings to the Air Tanzania Board a unique blend of technical aviation expertise, disciplined leadership and business acumen. He joined the TPDF in 1970 and was trained in China as a Fighter Pilot, later advancing to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) in the United States. His career in the military spanned several decades, during which he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 2001. Notably, he was seconded to serve as a pilot for the Zanzibar Presidential Flights, a role that underscored his skill, discretion and professionalism at the highest level of service. Following his military career, Lt. Col. (Rtd) Ally transitioned into the private sector, where he currently owns and manages a successful four-star hotel in Zanzibar. His work in tourism and hospitality has provided him with valuable insight into customer service, travel trends and the critical role of air transport in supporting the tourism economy. His dual experience in aviation and tourism makes him an invaluable asset to Air Tanzania, particularly in aligning the airline’s operations with the needs of the national tourism agenda. Dr. Anna Lyimo Member, Board of Directors, Air Tanzania Company Limited Dr. Anna Lyimo is a distinguished financial economist and strategic advisor with over 15 years of experience spanning central banking, investment management, institutional governance and capital mobilization. Her deep understanding of financial systems and macroeconomic strategy makes her a critical asset to Air Tanzania as it strengthens its commercial performance and long-term financial sustainability. Dr. Lyimo holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa), an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and an Advanced Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Finance Management (Tanzania). She has further honed her leadership and governance expertise through specialized programs at the Uongozi Institute, the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) and the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT). In her current role as Head of the Foreign Reserves Mobilization and Management Division at the Bank of Tanzania, Dr. Lyimo leads strategic efforts to optimize the country’s sovereign reserve assets work that demands a high level of precision, foresight and risk management. She has also served on numerous boards, investment committees and high-level technical teams, where she provides guidance on institutional strategy, project finance, corporate governance and capital investment. Her advisory work supports public and private institutions in areas such as financial sustainability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and long-term capital planning. She is particularly skilled in investment appraisal, financial due diligence and risk assessment; capabilities that are vital to Air Tanzania growth and competitiveness in the regional and international aviation markets. Dr. Lyimo also represents Tanzania in global economic forums, sharing insights on financial system resilience, gold-backed asset strategies and regional integration. She has contributed to the capacity building of central banks across East and Southern Africa, particularly in reserve asset structuring and financial market development. With her strategic financial insight and proven experience in managing complex institutional portfolios, Dr. Lyimo plays a pivotal role in enhancing Air Tanzania’s commercial strategy, fiscal discipline, and sustainable expansion. |

Eng. Peter Rudolph Ulanga Member (Ex-Officio) Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Air Tanzania Company Limited Eng. Peter Rudolph Ulanga is a seasoned Tanzanian engineer with more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure development, strategic leadership and organizational transformation. He currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL), where he is driving the continued growth of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL), the national flag carrier of the United Republic of Tanzania. He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam. Since his appointment at ATCL, Eng. Ulanga has focused on improving operational efficiency, expanding the airline’s network across Africa and beyond and enhancing service quality to better meet the needs of passengers and cargo clients. His leadership emphasizes accountability, safety and reliability; key pillars in building a modern and resilient national airline. Before joining Air Tanzania, Eng. Ulanga served as the Director-General of Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL), where he led efforts to modernize and expand communication infrastructure nationwide. He was also the founding Chief Executive Officer of the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF), where he played a vital role in extending ICT access to underserved communities. Internationally, Eng. Ulanga has been involved with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for over two decades, contributing to global discussions on ICT for development, internet governance, and sustainable connectivity. John Nzunda Head of Legal Services & Company Secretary, Air Tanzania Company Limited John Nzunda serves as the Head of Legal Services and Company Secretary at Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL). He is a highly experienced legal professional with over 13 years of service in the public sector, providing strategic legal guidance and corporate governance support at senior levels. Mr. Nzunda holds both a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Business, Finance and Investment Law from the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic foundation and practical experience have equipped him with deep expertise in commercial law, regulatory compliance and institutional governance. He plays a central role in Board secretarial duties, supporting the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities and ensuring effective corporate governance practices. His areas of specialization include labour and employment law, litigation management, industrial relations, dispute resolution and legal advisory on complex business transactions. His contributions are instrumental in maintaining the Company legal integrity and operational resilience as the company grows its regional and international footprint.
